Allotments

Amongst the 'green' spaces within the village over and above those providing for sport and general recreation, there are others serving specific purposes but which are still wildlife friendly. This includes the allotments.

Weston on Trent Parish Council manages these allotments, with the main entrance off Trent Lane.

Whilst allotments have become very popular over recent years, there are a small number available on a first come, first served basis. There is a modest rental for the allotments which come in two sizes. A 'half' plot costs just £22.50 per year with a discount available for those wishing to take on a full size plot. Rental includes the cost of the maintenance of the area, driveway, shelter, notice board and hedges and the cost of the water supply.
