Cllr. Ed Green

Ed has lived in Weston since 2002 and has been a member of the parish council since 2005, serving as chair from 2014 to 2016. Ed is married with two daughters.

During his time on the Parish Council, Ed has been involved in planning issues, racetrack liaison, sand & gravel liaison, footpaths, airport noise and has organised parish surveys. Ed is a member of SAVE, is on the Village Hall Committee and is a member of a number of village groups.

Ed is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer, employed by Rolls-Royce in Derby and enjoys reading, walking, cycling & skiing.

Graham has lived in the village for almost two years, however was involved in the village for several years before. He works for Rolls-Royce as an electrical design engineer. He is married with two children who attend local schools and is an occasional helper in the local scouting movement.

Linda [Lin] has lived in Weston for 26 years and joined Parish Council in 2017. She is an active member of The Village Speed Watch, SAVE, and helps to deliver The Village Voice. Also a member of CPRE [ Campaign to protect Rural England], Wildlife Trust and Woodland Trust. Currently rewilding garden, and can be found litter picking round the village. Also a DEV [Derbyshire Emergency Volunteer]. Past volunteer work includes Radio Derby, hospital radio,The Trent Ethics Committee and Games Maker for 2012 Paralympics. Works as a locum Community Pharmacist and relaxes by listening to The Archers and supporting Derby County.
