Gladman Land - development between Weston and Aston

FINAL UPDATE

This application was rejected by South Derbyshire District planning committee and was followed soon after by an appeal from Gladman Land to the Secretary of State.

Upon reviewing the documentation provided by SDDC as part of the appeal process, thankfully Gladman have now decided to withdraw their appeal. The process does not allow them to change their mind again, even within the 6 month appeal period, bringing an end to the threat.

A huge thanks to all those involved in opposing this development, including the large number of residents who took the time to write a response to the planning committee. This marks the second substantial victory for the communities of Aston on Weston, only made possible by the close collaboration between the two villages.
