The Great Grid Upgrade - Chesterfield to Willington

As you will be aware, National Grid are consulting on a new grid connection between Chesterfield and Willington to enhance the electricity network by building and operating approximately 60 kilometres of new 400 kilovolt overhead electricity line. 14th May to 17th September 2024 - Stage 1 consultation. A series of drop-in public information events will provide opportunities to view the proposals and speak to members of the team.
